The Volvo Group, Daimler Truck AG, cellcentric and Toyota Motor Corporation have signed a binding agreement for Toyota to join as an equal partner and shareholder in cellcentric, with each owner to hold a third each. The agreement follows the previous non-binding agreement signed at the end of March this year. Completion of the transaction is conditional upon obtaining regulatory approvals. Through the collaboration, the parties intend to strengthen cellcentric’s position as a leading developer and manufacturer of fuel cell systems for heavy-duty commercial applications.

“The second quarter of 2026 demonstrates the strength and adaptability of the Volvo Group. We delivered net sales of SEK 126.3 billion, with an organic sales growth of 7%. This improvement was broad-based with vehicle sales growing 6% and service sales 7% organically – reflecting both the quality of our product offering and the continued high utilization of our customers' fleets across most markets. Profitability reached its highest level in recent quarters. Adjusted operating income rose to SEK 14.8 billion (13.5), with an adjusted operating margin of 11.7%, up from 11.0% in Q2 2025, progress that demonstrates our capacity to achieve good earnings through the business cycle,” says Martin Lundstedt, President and CEO.

The Volvo Group report for the second quarter 2026 will be published on July 17, at 7.20 a.m. CEST. There will be a conference call for press and analysts starting at 9.00 a.m. CEST.

The number of votes in AB Volvo has changed due to the conversion of a total of 151 Series A shares to a total of 151 Series B shares. The conversions were implemented with the support of the opportunity for Series A shareholders to request conversion of Series A shares to Series B shares which was entered in the Articles of Association at the 2011 Annual General Meeting.

The previously announced agreement between Volvo Group, Renault Group and CMA-CGM to make a strategic change to the business model of Flexis has received the needed regulatory approvals. The agreement is hence closed.
